Learn to Interpret Cardiac Arrhythmias in simple steps

    What you'll learn
Be able to recognize arrhythmias related to the SinoAtrial Node
Be able to distinguish the different Atrial Arrhythmias
Be able to identify Ventricular Ectopics, Ventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Flutter and Fibrillation
Will be able to recognize the Escape Rhythms, Accelerated Idiojunctional and Idioventricular Rhythms
    Requirements
Should have a basic knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology
    Description
The course deals with Cardiac Arrhythmias in two parts. This is Part 1 of the course which deals with the Atrial and Ventricular Tachyarrhythmias. All the arrhythmias have been dealt with in detail and the causes of the arrhythmias elaborated whenever needed. The ECG criteria for the diagnosis of complex arrhythmias like Ventricular Tachycardia have been explained in simple terms, easily understood by the learner.Wherever needed diagrams have been provided and ECGs are also included for clarity.Module 1. Classification of Arrhythmias, Arrhythmias arising from the Sinoatrial node,Module 2. Atrial Premature Beats, Atrioventricular Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia, Atrioventricular Reentrant Tachycardia, Ectopic Atrial Tachycardia and Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia.Module 3. Atrial Flutter and Atrial Fibrillation.Module 4. Ventricular Premature Complexes and Ventricular Tachycardia.Module 5. Ventricular Flutter, Ventricular Fibrillation, Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia and Torsade de Pointes.Module 6. Escape Beats, Escape Rhythms, Accelerated Idiojunctional Rhythm and Accelerated Idioventricular Rhythm.Learning Objectives1. Analyze a Cardiac Arrhythmia methodically.2. Learn the steps in interpreting an Arrhythmia3. Be an expert in Arrhythmia interpretation4. Be able to distinguish Atrial and Ventricular Arrhythmias.5. Should be able to identify the Arrhythmias which are critical and need emergency management.6. Make a clinical diagnosis based on the interpretation of the Arrhythmia.7. Recognize the lift-threatening Arrhythmias in the Intensive Care Unit and Operating Room.
