Description
Introduction

This course is for students who have not studied Bioinformatics at the University level. The basic concepts of Bioinformatics course is to help all Biologist how to use Bioinformatics tools for their fields e.g: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology. Bioinformatics analyze the Genomics data.Which has always been concerned with the DNA and genome. The total genetic information of an organism is known as the genome. The genome of an organism is written by God (Francis Sellers Collins, 2006), so let’s explore the language of God. During this course, students will explore genome databases, genomic data analysis in the computational lab, and multiple sequence alignment and phylogeny. These experiments provide the implementation of genomics. This course is an excellent accompaniment to postgraduate courses of specializing like genomics, cancer genomics, evolution, or molecular biology. By learning all new concepts and techniques about genomics and Bioinformatics, students can develop critical thinking about advances in genomics and their social implications. This course provides a solid understanding of the concepts and scientific methods of modern genomics and Bioinformatics which applies to humans.
