Korean The Simplest Phonetic Language, Sound the Key to Korean Grammar

Many people say that Korean language is one of the most difficult languages in the world. Do they say the same thing about Japanese language? or Turkish or Mongolian? These languages belong to Ural-Altaic language family, just like Korean. Korean is one of the simplest phonetic languages in the world. The combination of vowel-consonant/ consonant-vowel governs almost all parts of Korean grammar. Korean grammar is so simple that you can say that there is no grammar in Korean language. What you have to know about Korean grammar is conjugation, and this conjugation flows in so simple patterns. Korean conjugations lie in tenses, structures, statement, questions, and commandment, and all these conjugations are constructed by the sound combination. Look at 니까, 이니까, 으니까; all these mean the same thing, “because.”; Here 이 and 으 are only functional. People choose to use one among these according to what words come before 니까, 이니까, 으니까; 니까 when the foregoing words do not have bottom consonants, 이니까 when the foregoing words are nouns with bottom consonants, 으니까 when the foregoing words are verbs with bottom consonants. The sound rule is kept over all conjugations. How simple? Nevertheless, I see a lot of people start learning Korean by memorizing sentences like 안녕하세요. They start with 안녕 and are confused with the sound of 녕 because it does not sound as it is written. Look at 안녕. 안녕 consists of consonant(ㄴ)+consonant(ㄴ). However, this pattern transforms into the combination of the consonant+vowel for pronunciation; and it sounds like “안영” which is consonant (ㄴ)+vowel(여). If you master this simple sound combination, you can base your conjugation word choice on reason. This book shows a lot of example words and sentences in support of conjugation transformation based on sounds. When there are too many similar conjugations explained, I summarized them in tables where you can see all of them together in comparison. The readers may feel overwhelmed by the overflowing number of examples, but don't avoid being exposed to all those examples. The more you travel around all the corners of the Korean language, your experiences will be enriched the more, and you will be able to fluently speak in Korean. I provided a video URL at the end of every chapter except the very beginning chapter where the URL is provided right before the table of conjugations. The video is not noisy one with a lot of movements. I read almost all the example sentences, and you can compare your sound with mine.
