    Ce livre, entrepris avec Pierre Lhomme avant son décès en juillet 2019, rend à la fois hommage à l'homme, à son œuvre mais aussi au travail des chefs opérateurs qui savent donner de la réalité à ce que le réalisateur a imaginé, qui transforment des idées en images. Les Lumières de Lhomme est un livre sur un artiste, un formidable témoignage sur la fabrique du cinéma et de cette nouvelle génération de cinéastes née dans les soubresauts de mai 1968.

    Biographie de l'auteur
    Cinéphile passionné, Luc Béraud fait son premier stage au cinéma en 1965. Premier assistant de Marguerite Duras, Alain Robbe-Grillet, Jacques Rivette, Jean Eustache, Claude Miller, Patrice Leconte, il devient ensuite lui-même réalisateur. Auteur ou co-auteur d’un grand nombre de scénarios pour le grand et le petit écran, il a tourné vingt-trois films de télévision et a mis en scène deux pièces de théâtre.
