The map uses symbols that resemble objects in the terrain. The map for an electronic system is a diagram. Symbols are also used on it. The main difficulty in using it is that sometimes the symbol refers to the internal structure of the element, not its external appearance. Look at the capacitor symbol and its appearance. The diagram shows two plates that are enclosed inside the housing. You can find pictures of the components and their corresponding symbols in Part 3. Components and symbols. You can learn to read diagrams by analyzing circuits, starting with the simplest and moving on to more and more complex ones. The examples given in Part 1. Circuits are for this purpose.
You can check whether the analysis was correct by looking at Part 2. Explanations. The diagrams and explanations have numerical designations.
