Description
In this course, we will discuss Radio Resource Management (RRM) Processes and Functionalities in detail. We will cover the following topics:The concept of QoS Characteristics, Model, Bearers, and its creation will be discussed. we will look at the Quality of Flow ID (QFI), and the reflective QoS. We will also see the difference between the 4G and 5G QoS. We will also see an overview of the concept of Admission Control in 5G.We will look at the 5G power control principles and how they are implemented of Power control in uplink (UL) and Downlink (DL) for User Equipment (UE) and gNodeB (gNB). Understanding the Principles of Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC), Here Link Adaptation (LA) is discussed and how LA is implemented for 5G Downlink and Uplink channels, and what are the allowed Modulation and coding schemes involved. We will discuss 5G Scheduling in detail, wherein we will learn about Downlink scheduling and Uplink Scheduling. We will take an overview of the Downlink Control Information (DCI) formats for the Downlink and Uplink resource allocations or power assignments or PRB to VRB mapping. Further different Resource Allocation types are discussed. Lastly, we will discuss the Hybrid Automatic request for retransmission and associated feedback.
