Komo Sapien

Two young American sisters with successful careers, a rich Japanese couple, an equally rich Russian and his mistress, two working-class Brits who won the lottery, and several others are cruising the Pacific on a pleasure yacht, run by a Captain with a secret past and a First Officer with marital problems.

The vessel runs into a violent storm which carries them into a different dimension. They land on a strange island and are captured by the Aridims, an advanced race of people. The Aridims are suffering from a sickness causing hyper-coagulation of their blood and they die early. To counter this, they have created a terrifying part-human part-animal creature whose blood carries an anti-coagulant. But the creature is only at the blueprint stage.

To complete their project, they want to harvest a ‘special’ Earth person’s DNA to make a serum to cure their sickness. The Earth captives are willing to give their DNA in exchange for their freedom, but the Aridims want their special donor to be somebody who can strategize and outwit their part-human creations. Several times, the captives try to defeat the creatures but fail. Exhausted and without hope, they believe they are going to die…until one of them thinks of a seemingly impossible plan to get them out of their hellish situation.
