Bonjour et bienvenue dans ce cours!
My name is Maéva, I am a native French teacher and in this course I will introduce you to French pronunciation.
Why this course ?
I believe that if you start learning a language you have to build a strong foundation. Which -starts with the pronunciation. Because you can learn as many as word as you want, or master the grammar, but if you don't know how to pronounce them or if you pronounce them the wrong way, native speakers won't be able to understand you.
Which will lead to frustration for you and you will end up giving up!
About the course
You first discover the alphabet, the different vowels and consonants in French
Then, the different sounds you can encounter in the French language and some specificities like the nasal sounds.
Each lesson is followed by a quiz to help you practice and check your understanding.
What to expect at the end of the course ?
You will be able to read any French word and start to learn vocabulary.
