Very good read. Chris doesn't ignore the fact that Earth is "playing outside of its league" but shows how Earth can still have a chance of winning the war. While not wanting to give anything away, we see the flaws in the Aliens' society that allowed the outcome of the war long before the end of the book.
My only "nit" is that I'd like to see more of Earth as it copes with the advanced technology given by Mentor as well as how it deals with the fact that we're not alone in the universe (and the universe isn't friendly). Still that's only a minor nit.
