This book is the third volume of the Scimitar Seas tetralogy, following Scimitar Moon and Scimitar Sun (A Scimitar Seas Novel). Readers, fasten your seat belts! From the first page to the last the suspense is unremitting. Scimitar's Heir is a real page-turner, with well-developed characters that the reader cares about and follows with great interest. Chris A. Jackson places his characters in constant danger, and the reader suffers with them as they face that danger and, sometimes, death. The many twists and turns of the plot surprise and shock but never disappoint. I strongly recommend this book and the two preceding volumes in the series to fantasy readers looking for an exciting and original story. Personally, I can't wait to read the fourth and last volume of the series.
