The inference worksheets are organized by inference type. Feel free to work from front to back or pick and choose to suit your learner’s needs.
Earlier problems for each inference category are multiple choice to give easier practice. Later problems require inferencing with no additional clues. Toward the end of the workbook, students practice making multiple inferences at once - just as skilled readers do.
Keep in mind that some inferences require world knowledge that your learner may not have. Use these examples as opportunities to expand your learner's knowledge.
