The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) defines a new standard in enterprise solutions through a simplified, component-based development model. Developed with the input of a wide range of industry experts, these specifications define a new standard for resolving many complex issues related to developing, deploying, and managing multi-tier enterprise applications.
