This is a great book, despite the illiterate review below. I've never looked for a drink at home to make that I couldn't find in this book – and the other drink/recipe "bibles" leave out the interesting information on the various spirits and histories. It's a staple on my cookbook shelves where more than a few "idiot's" or "dummies" book sit next to the French Laundry Cookbook.
