It seems that my life has always been marked by golden moments, when the universe moves to bring everything into alignment, to bring all the right people into orbit, and to create something special. When I got the chance to do this album, I knew I didn’t want to make an album just for the sake of making an album. I wanted so much for it to be a golden moment. I prayed for it to be a golden moment. And when Ray Kennedy came onboard to produce the album, I knew I had been heard. Ray had an immediate vision. I watched him work his magic, perfectly burnishing every song, and I stood in awe as everything coalesced into another beautifully golden moment. I could not have asked for more. I am incredibly proud of this album, Tarnished Nickel Sky. I am incredibly blessed and, most of all, I am incredibly thankful.
