The Gabor Varga Jazz Trio’s release of Cool Jazz in 2020 was one of that year’s biggest events on NativeDSD. With Cool Jazz going on to become a 2020 Album of the Year award winner. And a frequent entry on the NativeDSD Top Sellers List to this day.

Now, Jazz pianist Gabor Varga has released his 5th album at NativeDSD – Cool Jazz Reload. Along with the Gabor Varga Trio, this album promises to be another DSD Jazz favorite at NativeDSD. It has been recorded in Stereo DSD 256 and is being released in Pure DSD Stereo exclusively at NativeDSD Music.

Gabor Varga tells us “This record is a milestone, a manifestation of our almost 15 years of playing together. It was a pleasure to record it and to listen to it. No one has written songs for this album, and yet songs were born. No one had been rehearsing for this album, and yet it was recorded on the first try. No one wanted this album, but everybody loved it. This album is intuitive, honest, a reflection of itself. It does not want to come from or belong anywhere, it only wants to be played and listened to. Human is the message it wants to convey, which is also its sole purpose. It does not want to explain anything, and yet everybody will understand it. It is who we are.
