Israeli NYC-based drummer and composer Eden Har-Gil releases a mesmerizing and vivid musical representation of Prospect Park’s vibrant Nethermead. Released on March 8th under the label XJAZZ! Music, “Nethermead” features an exceptional lineup of collaborators, including saxophonists Caroline Davis and Lo Wood, along with bassist Dezron Douglas.

Enjoy melodious jazz from the Eden Har-Gil Quartet in the evening shade! The Quartet performs compositions from Thelonius Monk as well as original compositions that reflect Eden Har-Gil’s musical experiences. A drummer and composer hailing from Kibbutz Yakum in Israel, Eden Har-Gil studied jazz with David Rich for 7 years and continued his education at the Center for Jazz Studies at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv. In the U.S., Eden graduated from the William Paterson University Magna cum Laude having studied with Horacee Arnold, Bill Charlap, Jeremy Pelt, Cecil Bridgewater, Pete McGuiness, and Kevin Norton.
