Face Dances is the ninth studio album by English rock band the Who. It was released in 1981 by Warner Bros. in the United States (it was the band's first release on that label) and on Polydor in the United Kingdom. It was one of two Who studio albums with drummer Kenney Jones, who joined the band after Keith Moon's death three years earlier.
Despite mixed reviews from Rolling Stone and other critics, the album peaked at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart.
