    Radio orchestra of the Southwest German public broadcaster SWF (Südwestfunk), founded in 1946 as Südwestfunkorchester Baden-Baden and renamed to Sinfonieorchester Des Südwestfunks (Baden-Baden) in 1966. It is located in Baden-Baden and since 1996 the orchestra is also based in the Konzerthaus Freiburg. It was renamed to SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden Und Freiburg in 1998. Chief conductors: Ernest Bour, Kazimierz Kord and Michael Gielen.
