Things to Come is the second English album by German singer Peter Schilling and is the English counterpart to the German album 120 Grad.

Peter Schilling is one of the few German artists to have made it into the international charts. As a smart space traveller, the charismatic musician not only landed an absolute mega-hit in Germany with ‘Major Tom’, which stayed at number 1 for several months. His songs also topped the charts in England, France, Holland, Spain and other European countries. This was followed by top placings in the American and Canadian Billboard charts. He sold 5 million records worldwide. ‘Die Wüste lebt’ and “Terra Titanic” also reached the top of the charts at the speed of sound. The album ‘Fehler im System’ and its English-language counterpart ‘Error In The System’ as well as the second longplayer ‘120 Grad’ and ‘Things To Come’ secured PETER SCHILLING further chart territory on both sides of the Atlantic. Some targeted experiments, such as the collaboration with Michael Cretu (Enigma) with whom he produced the title ‘The Different Story’, finally made him a ‘cult star’. This song also reached high positions worldwide, including the USA Top 40.
