    Just as the boulders (còdols) come from a slow action of nature on the rocks, these miniatures for cello and piano, by Juli Sandaran and Pau Sandaran, are the result of a similar transformation, of polishing them without any hurry to go in search of the essence. 'Dues impressions' ('Romança sense melodia i Melodia'), by Juli Sandaran, with a great expressive force, are a clear example of this polish.
