    With this album, the Orchestre National de Lyon releases a first monograph on Camille Pépin, a key figure in the contemporary music scene. At the crossroads between French Impressionism and American Minimal Music, the composer finds her inspiration in nature and painting.

    The five works on the recording explore cosmic spheres in various instrumentations from chamber orchestra to large orchestra. The orchestra has intensively explored Pépin's ethereal timbres and the novel playing techniques they require.
