    Der Zufall schreibt die schönsten Geschichten. Albert Wieder sprang 2015 als Karenzvertretung bei Mnozil Brass ein. Gemeinsam mit Thomas Gansch und Leonhard Paul begann man irgendwann damit, am Ende jeder Mnozil Brass Show eine Zugabe zu spielen. Auf jeder Tour eine Neue. Ins Blaue hinein, sehr spontan und nicht bis kaum geprobt, stellte man sich auf die Bühne und tat das, worum es beim Musizieren geht – kommunizieren. So entwickelte sich im Laufe der Zeit ein ganzes Konzert- und Albumprogramm; mit Songs aus allen Ecken und Enden ihrer drei Universen:

    George Michael, The Beatles, Chuck Mangione, Johann Strauß, Toots Thielemans, Elvis Costello, Georg Danzer, Junior Mance und und und. Bass, Melodie und Harmonie. Mehr braucht man nicht. Man könnte auch “Earth, Wind and Fire” sagen – das ist aber schon vergeben – drum wollen wir’s “Wieder, Gansch & Paul” nennen!
