    Une nouvelle fois, M. Pokora voit les choses en grand. Il se retrouve donc au sommet d’une Pyramide depuis lequel il pratique une introspection brut de décoffrage. Ainsi, dans la chanson qui donne son nom à l’album, il hurle les doutes et la solitude qui entourent la célébrité, dans une structure en crescendo qui personnifie littéralement l’image d’une pyramide. A l’image de ce coup de massue, l’interprète d’origine strasbourgeoise a donc choisi d’aborder une face plus grave de sa personnalité dans cet album, notamment dans Douleur, Effacé ou Sommet. Mais il ne renie pas cependant son romantisme légendaire. On trouvera donc également des chansons plus légères et sentimentales dans Pyramide, des airs accrocheurs dans lesquels des marimbas exotiques et oniriques ont une place de choix (Barrio, Ouh na na, La regarder s’en aller, California sunset…). Entre rap et pop, futurisme et electro funk, l’album a été composé par les complices habituels de M Pokora, Tristan Salvati et Yoann Malory, épaulés à deux occasions par Slimane (Perdu, Tombé).
