In the 1960s, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers took the London music scene by storm. Europe and America soon followed, fascinated by his own brand of British blues. In those early years, his included guitarists Mick Taylor and Freddie Robinson, saxophonist Dick Heckstall-Smith, drummers Keef Hartley and Colin Allen, and fiddler Don Sugarcane Harris.

Across the channel, French Music Television broadcast intelligent, high-quality programs and mini-documentaries, and invited British and American musicians to perform. John Mayall was a regular guest, and this collection follows his musical journey between 1967 and 1971, including performances in London and at the Newport Jazz Festival. Recorded in the French TV archives, beautifully filmed and produced and remastered.
