We have been living for a few decades a rich period of diffusion of ancient music, rediscovered and reproposed to our contemporary ears by passionate musicians of which I am modestly part. But before us, from the end of the nineteenth century, great composers recognized by the time such as Ravel, Hahn, Saint-Saëns … and others almost forgotten such as Laparra, Sauzay or Pitte … exalted themselves for this music. This disc is a tribute to all its musicians, but also a look at today since I wanted to continue the tribute: Juliette, Léonor de Récondo, Edouard Ferlet, and Xavier Béraud have written 3 unpublished songs on the subject. With Maude Gratton who will play a historical Erard piano for the occasion, We invite you to a musical and poetic stroll through time in tribute to the past.
