With Pandemic now firmly in our rearview mirror, Erja Lyytinen has been touring relentlessly with her band. With the towering Finn in absolute top form, the artist decided to capture the magic of her live performances on a double LP concert album "Diamonds on the Road - Live 2023".

Speaking about her new concert album, Erja Lyytinen said, "When you play live, you have a moment to get it right, and then that moment is gone. There are no corrections later, so it's very raw and exciting to play and sing at the same time. The adrenaline surges through your body and everything around you affects your performance." The release is Erja Lyytinen's fourth live album and follows Songs from the Road, Live in London and Lockdown Live. The album is the first concert release from the gifted guitarist, capturing the live experience after Corona. "Diamonds on the Road was recorded toward the end of our spring tour in March 2023," she says. "We played ten shows in a row, eight of which were sold out. The band had a good flow and the songs were going well."
