Just one year after her breakthrough double album "Bad Girls," Donna Summer left Casablanca Records to become the first artist signed to the new Geffen Records label.

Donna's final album of the '80s was 1989's "Another Time and Place," for which she collaborated with British producer Stock Aitken Waterman, who scored several hits and million-dollar sales. The album's lead single, "This Time I Know It's For Real," was an uplifting, club-ready, radio-ready hit that reached No. 3 in the U.K. and No. 7 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Donna her highest chart position in more than a decade. Four additional singles were released from the album, including the two Top 20 hits "I Don't Wanna Get Hurt" and "Love's About To Change My Heart," which gave Donna her first Top 10 hit in the UK since 1977, as well as remixed versions of "When Love Takes Over You" and "Breakaway."

This version is packaged as a 2CD in 7-inch deluxe gatefold packaging, with an 8-page booklet featuring the lyrics and personal recollections of Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman. This reissue includes two previously unreleased re-edits and a brand new remix of 'In Another Place And Time' produced by legendary PWL mixmaster Pete Hammond, alongside a selection of 7" versions, extended mixes and two other new re-edits.
