    A delight in the friendships of one's youth, the pain of unrequited love, and the destruction, horror and futility of war, are themes that run through A Lad's Love, a disc that brings together the profound beauty created by Britain's poets and composers during the turbulent years of the early 20th Century. The brilliant American tenor, Brian Giebler, has been praised for his "lovely tone and deep expressivity" by The New York Times.

    Exciting young tenor Brian Giebler proves the wisdom of pursuing one's passions, as he garners glowing reviews for his work in a broad range of repertoire, from early music to grand opera to musical theater to 21st century commissions. On dozens of recordings, and in appearances with the Cleveland Orchestra, The English Concert, Boston Baroque, Boston Early Music Festival, Grand Rapids Symphony, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Mark Morris Dance Group as part of Mostly Mozart at Lindoln Center, Handel & Haydn Society, Trinity Baroque Orchestra and many others, the "deep expressivity" (New York Times) "shine and clarity" (Opera News) and "elegant phrasing" (Cleveland Classical) of his voice have been noted.
