Bergson Phil' - VIVACE! (2025) [Official Digital Download]

VIVACE!, that is, lively, lively, luminous. It is a tempo designation in music. And: That's the name of the acoustic system of the Elektra Tonquartier, our new concert hall. It allows us to artificially create every conceivable room acoustics - and to make it sound natural. At the push of a button, our hall becomes the Elbphilharmonie, a recording studio, the Cologne Cathedral or Beethoven's living room…

The Bergson Phil' are about 25 Bergson Artists who form an orchestra. The "Phil'" alludes to "Philharmonic Orchestra". Strictly speaking, the Bergson Phil line-up is too small for a philharmonic orchestra, because there are sometimes a hundred musicians playing there and more. But due to the acoustic possibilities of our hall, it has a sonically symphonic character. In addition, "Phil'" translates as "friend". And that fits well with us and the relationship we want with our audience. In addition to the Jazzrausch Big Band, the Bergson Phil’ are our second house ensemble.
