    Guy Figer is a passionate chamber musician, soloist, concertmaster and pedagogue. Hailed for his "exciting, assertive playing" (Fanfare Magazine) and for his "excellent playing" (American Record Guide), he is the first prize winner at the Paul Ben Haim competition, twice in a row, in violin and in chamber music. Among his other awards are the Thomastik Infeld Prize of the Prague / Vienna / Budapest summer academy and annual scholarships from the America Israel Cultural Foundation. He was also a finalist at the “Vittorio Gui” chamber music competition in Florence, Italy. Figer has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras in Israel and abroad and has been broadcast on Israeli radio, Vienna Radio, on WFMT Chicago and on WQXR New York. He often performs in Europe, North America and his native Israel. Since 2005 Guy is a member of the Figer-Khanina Duo, together with pianist Anna Khanina. The Duo’s debut CD was released under the label New Focus Recordings and is distributed by Naxos of America. Currently Figer is based in Israel. An avid pedagogue, he serves as a faculty member at the Israeli Conservatory Tel Aviv and teaches regularly at the "Keshet Eilon" national violin seminars.

    Guy is concertmaster of the Galilee Chamber Orchestra, with whom he also performed as a soloist. He holds a D.M.A degree from Rutgers University, a M.M degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and a B.M degree from the Tel-Aviv Music Academy (today the Buchman-Mehta School). Among his teachers are Shmuel Ashkenasi, Arnold Steinhardt, Hagai Shaham and Irina Svetlova.

    Yotam Baruch is the principal cellist (Solocellist) of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. He had served as the cellist of the Israel Contemporary String Quartet and as assistant principal cellist of the Jerusalem Symphony. He performed as a soloist and chamber musician in America and Israel's most celebrated venues, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Phillips Collection and the MoMA.

    Mr. Baruch received his early education at the Tel Aviv Conservatory of Music and at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. He studied the Tel Aviv University with Michael Khomitser, The Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore with Amit Peled, and at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, with master cellist and teacher Janos Starker. Mr. Baruch has participated in several festivals, including Music@Menlo, Musicorda, Santa-Fe Chamber Music Festival, The Perlman Chamber Music Workshop at the Perlman Program, and the West-Eastern Divan Workshop, where he played under the baton of Maestro Daniel Barenboim.

    Mr. Baruch recorded for "Meridian" and "Centaur" labels, and for the “Voice of Music” radio channel in Israel and WFIU radio of Indiana. As a chamber musician, he collaborated with violinists Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell and Guy Braunshtein, clarinetist David Krakauer, cellists Laurence Lesser, Paul Katz, and singer Bobby McFerrin.

    Mr. Baruch has been a recipient of scholarship support from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation since 1995. He won the first prize winner of both the 2005 the Baltimore Music Club competition in Towson, Maryland and the 2009 Matinee Musicale Competition in Indianapolis, and received several grants from IU Jacobs School of Music, including the Eva Heinitz Cello Scholarship. Recently, he was also honored with the Hatfield Merit Award by the National Society of Art and Letters.

    At Indiana, while pursuing a doctorate in cello performance, Yotam did a minor in music theory. His doctoral thesis is an analysis work titled "Development Sections in the String Quintets of Mozart". Aside from his activities as a cellist, Yotam is also an arranger and a conductor, and a teacher. He has taught at the Indiana University String Academy, at Hassadna Conservatory in Jerusalem, and in the Seminars of Orpheus-of-Nazareth and Keshet Eilon.

    Ron Trachtman, Born in Israel, regularly performs on concert stages in Israel and abroad as a soloist as well as in chamber ensembles. Student of Mrs. Hanna Shalgi and Prof. Arie Vardi.

    Trachtman has won many prizes including the Katz competition, the Turgeman competition, Parnassos International Piano Competition, the Tel Aviv Academy Chamber Music competition and others. He devotes a substantial portion of his time to teaching piano and to the development of young pianists.
