Andrzej Ślązak (born in 1985) is a graduate of the Academy of music in łódź in the class of prof. Tadeusz Chmielewski (master's studies) and prof. Maria Korecka-Soszkowska (doctoral studies). In 2014 he received the degree of Doctor, in 2019 the Academy of music in Gdańsk awarded him the degree of habilitated doctor. Currently he is the head of the Department of music at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

His artistic activity is dedicated to the performance of old and new music. He perfected his skills in this field under the supervision of outstanding pianists and chamber musicians, m.in. Nicolas Hodges and Marino Formenti (42. Summer new music courses in Darmstadt), Rebekka Hartmann (Dresdner Meisterkurse Musik), Tomasz Tomaszewski (Universität der Künste Berlin), Krystian Zimerman, Kevin Kenner, Eugene Jindjic, Małgorzata Walentynowicz, Szabolcs Esztenya and Andrzej Jasiński. As one of the first pianists in Poland, he performed works, among others. Salvatore Sciarrino, Peter Ablinger, Mauricio Kagel, John Cage, John Adams, Beat Furrer, Cornelius Schwehr, Jerzy Mądrawski and łukasz Wos. The artist actively cooperates with such composers as Peter Ablinger, Zygmunt Krauze, Paweł Szymański, Artur Zagajewski, Dariusz Przybylski, Łukasz Woś, Jerzy Mądrawski.
The Pianist leads an active concert life, promoting at home and abroad both the work of Jan Sebastian Bach and Polish music of the 20th and 21st centuries (he has given concerts in Italy, England, Germany, Russia, Portugal, Taiwan, the United States and Ukraine).

Since 2017 he has been a member of the Polish Society of Contemporary Music.
