Morning, Noon & Night's 1977 self-titled album was the band's one and only release and is presented here as a remastered digital download. Comprised of musicians Eddie “Chank” Willis, Rodrick 'Peanut' Chandler, Rudy Robinson and George Roundtree, the band's soul and funk-infused sound produced cult hits such as Bite Your Granny, included here.

Featuring funk and disco-infused gems such as It's You My Love and It Just Feels Good, Intense was the 1977 album from singer and producer Mark Radice, showing a different side to a musician now known for his work on The Muppets and Sesame Street.

After hearing this album I can see why they are so popular. Everyone gets involved at a live concert, but I've never heard a band and an audience enjoy the time quite so much. Lionel Richie is exceptional in the role of getting the fans participating, and the band seems to feed off the enthusiasm. It really sounds like a concert that even every member of the band must have went away from saying that they loved every minute of it. 'Brick House' in particular is simply a classic fans/band get together that stands out in any era. A number of the classics are on the album, such as 'Easy' (another great sing along) and 'Just To Be Close To You'.

The three principal works that Benjamin Grosvenor has chosen for his first concerto album complement each other perfectly. The urbane charm and dazzling virtuosity of Saint-Saëns lead naturally on to the brittle brilliance and dry wit of his fellow Frenchman Ravel. Ravel’s distinctly jazzy G major Concerto was written soon after he’d met Gershwin, and just a few years after the great Broadway songsmith had so spectacularly gatecrashed his way into the classical world with his syncopated, note-bending Rhapsody in Blue.

When Nemanja Radulović was asked the reason why he chose Paganini for this new record, he didn’t hesitate in giving this simple answer: “To change his image a little, and show that he’s more than the virtuoso composer.” For while Paganini indeed owes his reputation to his unrivalled instrumental technique, in his music Nemanja Radulović also sees a composer who enabled violinists to feel closer to the human voice.

Gustav Mahler's Ninth Symphony is primarily regarded as the composer’s reaction in the summer of 1908 to the diagnosis of a heart ailment, which he received just before writing the first sketches for the work. Mahler was deeply distraught and cannot have known how few years he still had left to live. His processing and exploration of his life experiences, and of valedictions, the meaning of life, death, salvation, life after death and love, always took place in and through his music.
