William Youn (b.1982) has been recognized as one of the most promising and unique pianists of his generation. Born is Seoul, South Korea, Youn began playing piano at age six, studied in Korea & at the Walnut Hill School in Boston and finished his studies in Hannover Germany. Youn is a prize winner at the following International competitions; Cleveland Int., the Concorso comp., the Shanghai Piano competition, finalist at the Busoni Competition & the Concours Reine Elisabeth, Brussels.
