The great musical comeback of Liane Foly. Accompanied by a big band, Liane Foly returns to her first love, Jazz, and makes swing some of the most beautiful French songs. "Crooneuse", her 9th studio album, finally marks the return of Liane Foly to the song. She has chosen to repeat eleven titles that she particularly likes, in an eclectic repertoire that goes from rock to variety, but interpreting them with a voluntarily jazz tone, while swing and elegance, all impeccably served by a big band.
The album will delight fans of the artist, fans of jazz and French songs. Each piece reflects a style, a different emotion, but all have the same evocative force. Françoise Hardy, Julien Clerc, Henri Salvador, Jean-Louis Aubert, Leo Ferré, Eddie Mitchell, Johnny, but also some tasty incongruities like Patrick Coutin's "J'aime J'aime les filles" and Grace Jones's "Slave To The Rhythm". Finally Michel Jonasz also offers him the immense satisfaction of accompanying him on La Boîte de Jazz.
