"Grace" is the only complete studio album by Jeff Buckley, released in 1994. While the album initially had poor sales, peaking at number 149 in the U.S., and received mixed reviews, it gradually acquired critical acclaim and commercial success and, as of 2007, had sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

Jeff Buckley was many things, but humble wasn't one of them. Grace is an audacious debut album, filled with sweeping choruses, bombastic arrangements, searching lyrics, and above all, the richly textured voice of Buckley himself, which resembled a cross between Robert Plant, Van Morrison, and his father Tim. And that's a fair starting point for his music: Grace sounds like a Led Zeppelin album written by an ambitious folkie with a fondness for lounge jazz. At his best – the soaring title track, "Last Goodbye," and the mournful "Lover, You Should've Come Over" – Buckley's grasp met his reach with startling results; at its worst, Grace is merely promising.

About the Mastering:
The level of production, recording and mixing expertise that Andy Wallace contributed to the album Grace, combined with the magical, sheer talent and artistry that is Jeff Buckley, has earned the album a place on many "best album of all time" lists. For me, remastering this incredible album is both an honor and a personal career highlight. Jeff's music has touched so many people and will undoubtedly continue to inspire and move generations to come.

Grace's legacy is well deserved and the goal with this remaster was to uncover the beauty and depth from the original master tapes and capture them in the highest resolution possible. The depth and vivid colors coming straight from the tapes is now captured with this added resolution and allows listeners to experience this material in a more intimate, honest way. The mastering equipment used includes a vintage Ampex ATR 102 machine for playback from the original tapes as well as analog equipment from Pultec, Avalon, Shadow Hills, Manley and Neve. All of the analog to digital conversion was achieved using the Antelope 384 Eclipse Converter and masters were recorded and edited using the Pyramix digital audio workstation. – Emily Lazar, Owner, The Lodge Mastering, New York
