Duane and Gregg Allman found themselves in a host of other projects before the famed Allman Brothers Band began their ascent to success. This release is an album-length demo recording of a Tallahassee-basked folk rock band the 31st of February, which featured Duane Allman on guitar and Gregg Allman on vocals. While the 31st of February would eventually disband, this record is a rare insight into the early days of the Allmans and features the first ever recording of the song "Melissa".

Juvenilia. These are recordings made by The Allman Brothers prior to the formation of The Allman Brothers Band. Gregg is in fine voice and Duane is a remarkable guitarist, but this is embryonic compared to their mature work. Contains an early version of "Melissa".
