"Sky Tales" is a journey that begins with a daydream. "Daydream", is the first single of the the album "Sky Tales". A simple and joyful piano rhythm, a beat made with shrubs and leaves, the beat of the foot as the bass drum, the strings painting the first clouds. Daydreaming is necessary to prepare oneself to stand - as Ennio Flaiano would say - 'with feet firmly planted on the clouds'.

A pianist, improviser and composer as at ease among the sounds of a baroque orchestra as he is among electronic beats, Cesare Picco has always been a transversal experimenter in every musical field. Composer for soloists and orchestras such as Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Chambers Soloists, I Virtuosi Italiani and creator of special projects linked to the world of Art such as for the Whitney Museum in New York, Hara Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, Hangar Bicocca in Milan and Mart in Rovereto. Since 1986 he has been bringing his music to the most important theatres in the world, including Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Auditorium in Rome, Hanoi Opera House, Kolkata Tagore Centre, Baghdad National Theatre, and to festivals such as Delhi Jazz Festival, Tokyo Jazz Festival, Abu Dhabi Festival, and collaborating with many Italian and international artists such as Naseer Shamma, Hajime Mizoguchi, Giovanni Sollima. In 2009 he created "BLIND DATE - Concert in the Dark", a unique concert in which artist and audience are immersed in absolute darkness. In 2019, he published "Sebastian" (Rizzoli), a novel dedicated to the life of J.S. Bach.
