As far as I can tell it was the first record to show off the tin whistle in the wake of the ‘70’s supergroups; as a whistler I had felt rather frustrated by how little space Planxty, the Bothies and De Danann had given the instrument (though when they did use it, it was superb), so I was very glad when this one came along.
