A live album masterpiece. No other Yes live album comes close to this. As far as quality goes and the criticism it receives, I just don't get it. Sure it is not the best but what an atmosphere, what an assortment of the finest songs. Chris Squire's ' Fish' and Wakeman's ' Six Wives' are simply awesome. The quality of Genesis - Trespass was also poor, did this detract from the fact that it was a classic album? No ways. Anderson's occasional interaction with the crowd is also perfect. The sleeve design on Yessongs is again by Roger Dean, a three LP fold out. By now the Yes/Dean branding well engrained in the subconcious and adding to the conceptual feel of the albums. Do not overlook this essential milestone in the Yes historyprogarchives.com
