Here is a dream gem for those who like the lute music, Hopkinson Smith (UK) and Paul O’Dette (US), together! In the only (that I know) recording both playing Renaissance lute music (My favorite period in the lute and the best.)
This LP when I saw it, didn’t hesitate a second and I bought it. Today I have it in a privilege place in my library of legendary albums. O’Dette and Smith is that the best-century lute players in past and present. There are many “sons” from these players, lot of “Odetties” and “Hopies”, but, masters are 2 and are those present today.
