Rocked at a very young age by music from the Middle East and very early trained in classical music and jazz, Omri Mor is a young virtuoso pianist with sparkling play, whose multiple influences perfectly mastered reveal an unconventional pianistic talent. Spotted very quickly by Avishaï Cohen (double bass) for his impressive virtuosity and his great knowledge of the Arabo-Andalouse music, Chaabi and Jazz, this one hires him to shoot with him in trio and they will perform together on the most great European and worldwide scenes.

It is under the artistic direction of the Algerian drummer / percussionist Karim Ziad that he recorded this first album "It's About Time! ", Surrounded by an exceptional cast: Avishaï Cohen on bass, Michel Alibo on electric bass and Karim Ziad on drums.

If the repertoire consists mostly of originals where a great talent of composer is revealed, an incredible sense of the game and the melody, the piece "Marrakech" (Hamid Zahir) leads us towards new countries and frenzied rhythms, which give at his piano wings of swing and freedom.
