Recorded March 1st 2020, a mere fortnight before the world of live rock and roll seemed to stop in its tracks. GospelbeacH concluded a three week tour through Spain, Scandinavia and England while the news of a global pandemic loomed. The final night was booked as an "acoustic" show at the bands favorite pub, The Betsey Trotwood in London. The Betsey is where GospelbeacH recorded Another Winter Alive in 2017 as well as the site of London's Neal Casal tribute just months earlier. Neal's vibe and everyone's spirits were riding high in the warmth of the packed pub.
GospelbeacH paid tribute to their dear friend Neal playing Freeway To The Canyon and songs from Let It Burn including Get It Back for the first time ever in his honor. Jonny Niemann's rolling piano fills the room, Matthew Hill and Brent Rademaker sing and strum with revelry and honesty. Unaware the tape was rolling it's more spontaneous than unrehearsed. This is a special performance truly Once Upon A Time.
