    Gerade wurde Christoph Sietzen für sein Album bei Sony Classical "Incantations" als "Nachwuchskünstler des Jahres" mit einem Opus Klassik ausgezeichnet. Der Schlagwerker wird in der Presse als Ausnahmetalent gefeiert und für seine erfrischende musikalische Natürlichkeit, seine technische Virtuosität sowie ausgeprägte Bühnenpräsenz gelobt. "Dieser junge Mann beherrscht die seltene Kunst, auf seinem Schlagwerk zu singen - und bewirkt eine Revolution für das Marimbaphon" (Rondo Magazin) "(…) er entlockte der Marimba Klänge von enormer Feinheit und Sensibilität" (The New York Times) Für sein neues Album hat Christoph Sietzen faszinierende Werke von Bach, Albéniz, Piazzolla, Glass, Francisco Tárrega und Arvo Pärt aufgenommen. In seiner sehr persönlichen Auswahl wählte der Schlagwerker Stücke aus, in denen er und der Hörer Stille finden: "Opening" aus Glassworks von Philip Glass, das berühmte "Asturias" von Isaac Albéniz, Bachs "Sarabande" und die "Gigue" (aus der Lautensuite in e-Moll) - unter den Händen von Christoph Sietzen bekommen diese Stücke auf der Marimba einen magischen Klang, den auch die sehr direkte Aufnahme widerspiegelt. Ob "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" von Tárrega, Pärts "Spiegel im Spiegel" oder Piazzollas "Romántico" und "Verano Porteño", Christoph Sietzen gelingt eine meditative Klangreise, die den Hörer von Beginn an fesselt - bis zum Schluss des Albums, an dem der berühmte zweite, langsame Satz des Cembalokonzerts in f-Moll von Bach erklingt - begleitet von der Academy of Ancient Music.
