    Sorti en 1992, Tour Novice est le deuxième album live d'Alain Bashung, et offre des extraits de concerts datant de 1987 (tournée Passé Le Rio Grande…) et 1990 (tournée Novice). On sait que Bashung était friand de jeux de mots (son parolier attitré jusqu'en 1989, Boris Bergman, en raffolait aussi), et le nom de l'album en est un beau : Tour Novice, "tournevis". Comme Novice, qui peut se lire normalement, ou "no vice", ou "nos vices". Bashung, accompagné des batteurs François Causse et Jean-My Truong, des guitaristes Olivier Guindon, Toxy, Richard Mortier et Jean Cadic, des bassistes Didier Batard et François Delage, des claviéristes Vic Emerson et Jean-Pierre Pilot, et du saxophoniste Michel Billiez, offre ici des versions remarquables des meilleures chansons de sa période 1981-1989. Même si certains classiques (S.O.S. Amor, Gaby Oh Gaby, Bijou Bijou, Vertige De L'Amour, Elégance, L'Arrivée Du Tour) manquent à l'appel. Elles manquent, elles manquent à la pelle, comme il le chante d'ailleurs sur Résidences, qui manque aussi à l'appel sur ce live.
