New Tattoo is the eighth studio album by the American hard rock band Mötley Crüe released in 2000. Artistically, New Tattoo shows the band going back to their sleazy glam metal sound that gave them commercial success in the 1980s. Long time drummer Tommy Lee left the band a year before, and was replaced by former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo on the album. The song "Hell on High Heels" was released as a single for the album and charted at number 13 on the Mainstream rock charts.

XYZ were an impressive hook-laden power metal band. They were considered the unofficial house band of the Los Angeles nightclub The Whiskey in the mid 80's, but major success eluded them.
XYZ began in Los Angeles, California, with members Terry Ilous (vocals), Bobby Pieper (guitar), Patt Fontaine (bass) and Joey Pafumi (drums). An early development deal with Atlantic records led to the recording of their debut album which quickly got shelved - and wouldn't see the light of day until Rainy Days was released in 2005. After that false start Ilous and Fontaine regrouped with new members Marc Diglio (guitar) and Paul Monroe (drums). Don Dokken produced the debut that included the killer single "Inside Out," but unfortunately few people seemed interested.

John Lee Hooker - Past Perfect, #1 Boogie Chillen ( PAST PERFECT - 24 Carat Gold Edition)

John Lee Hooker was born in the deep south, in Clarksdale, Mississippi and had stays in several other important blues cities such as Memphis before he came to Detroit, where he became the preeminent bluesman of the city with his 1948 release Boogie Chillen'. Afterwards Hooker would record under various aliases so he could use different labels without legal trouble and be able to release his huge stash of songs quickly.

His output during the 50's and 60's was remarkable, both as a solo act (like Boogie Chillen') and with bands, as evidenced by his hit "Boom Boom". In the 70's Hooker recorded with the LA blues band Canned Heat in Hooker 'n Heat, a cross-generational collaboration that worked because Canned Heat were electric imitatator's of Hooker's boogie style.
