    Lawyer Clémence Vallardin must convince her landlord that she is married in order to secure the lease on an apartment. She spins the same tale for Cédric who is madly in love with her and is willing to do anything to please her, even if it means offering Clémence a piano. Cédric's tenacity begins to annoy Clémence and when the piano arrives at Clémence's place, delivered by a man named Farid, Clémence persuades Farid to pretend to be her husband and asks him to come and live with her in order to get rid of Cédric.
