    A heterosexual advertising copy writer is mistakenly assumed to be gay by everyone at his firm because his best friend and writing partner is gay. His situation becomes complicated when he chaperon's his boss' mistress to an art opening and inadvertently falls in love with her and pretends to be gay to win her over and keep his cover with his boss who expects him to keep tabs on his mistress.

    Oscar Novak, jeune architecte bourré d'énergie et de talent croit enfin avoir trouvé la femme idéale, Amy… Mais hélas, celle-ci n'est autre que la maîtresse de Charles Newman avec qui Oscar doit signer un contrat de plusieurs dizaines de millions de dollars ! Et pour compliquer la vie d'Oscar, Charles qui croit à la suite d'un quiproquo que celui-ci est gay lui confie une mission : le tenir informé par le menu des moindres faits et gestes d'Amy en devenant son ami. Les embrouilles peuvent commencer !
