Pour toucher un loyer qui se fait attendre, Bérurier, l'adjoint du commissaire San Antonio, devenu propriétaire par héritage, se rend au domicile d'un certain Lorrenzi, où il a la surprise et de le trouver ralde mort, et de se taire matraquer. Ayant repris ses esprits, il fait appel à son chef hiérarchique et se rend avec lui à l'hôtel particulier qui lui a été laissé en héritage par sa tante défunte et dont Lorrenzi était locataire. Il y découvre avec stupeur qu'il abrite un pensionnat d'un genre très spécial. Une conversation avec la maîtresse du lieu, juste avant qu'elle ne soit assassinée sous les yeux des deux policiers, les lance sur la piste d'un M. Bernal, habitué de cette accueillante maison.

(This comedy-tinged crime drama finds the detective San Antonio (Gerard Barray) and his sidekick Beru (Jean Richard) hot on the trail of some thugs who have stolen some morphine. They trace the thief to a house, but the prime suspect is found murdered. The house is full of hookers, much to the delight of the two detectives, but the drugs are gone. The crooks raid another home thinking they have found the morphine, but they mistakenly grab some small bottles that contain a virus. San Antonio and Beru go after the thugs before the virus can be unleashed on an unsuspecting public.)
