Vincent est un ostéopathe bourré d'énergie. Avec ses patients, ses amis et sa femme, il ne cesse de plaisanter et d'en faire des tonnes. Épuisée par la vie aux côtés d'un homme qui ne l'écoute jamais, Camille décide de le quitter. Une catastrophe n'arrivant jamais seule, Vincent découvre le soir même que ses facéties peuvent parfois déclencher de véritable drames… Tiraillé entre sa nature hilarante et sa sensibilité soigneusement enfouie, Vincent va devoir dompter son humour pour gagner son bonheur… Le titre du film n'est pas sans rappeler le roman de Fedor Dostoïevski Crime et Châtiment auquel il est fait référence dans le film.
Vincent Roméro’s skill as an osteopath is surpassed only by his talent for entertaining his entourage. Outside of work, he devotes all his time and energy to making people laugh – to the annoyance of his wife Camille, who finally walks out on him. Vincent is at first unperturbed by Camille’s gesture, but he soon begins to realise that something is wrong. For one thing, the laughter that his antics provoke begins to kill those around him…
