Victor a soixante ans, Betty, la moitié de son âge. Ils forment un couple disparate et bien malin qui pourrait dire leurs rapports réels, sinon ceux d'une association de malfaiteurs. Ils sillonnent la France et les pays limitrophes a bord d'un camping-car, recherchant particulièrement les congrès professionnels ou Betty se charge de trouver des pigeons. Ils ne se font jamais prendre car ils restent modestes dans leurs exactions. Jusqu'au jour ou une de leurs opérations les entraine sur le terrain inconnu et dangereux du blanchiment de l'argent douteux…

A somewhat offbeat couple, Victor and Betty, live off their wits and small-time swindles. He's a man of sixty, she's half his age; their relationship is wily as a den of thieves. They spend their time driving the length and breadth of France and the neighbouring countries in a camping-car, seeking out, in particular, professional conferences in country towns, where Betty fleeces those she considers ripe for a con. A hitch in one of their operations leads them into a domain they know little about: international money laundering. In this more cut-throat universe, Victor reveals a knack for action and imagination which amazes even himself. Yet here, the joking is over: Betty and Victor will have to save their skins. But will a gleam of morality manage to light this icy world?
